End-blown vertical flutes
An end-blown flute is a wind instrument that is held vertically, placed between the chin and the lower lip and then angled a little bit. The flute is blown with a specific embouchure (the shape of the lips), similar to that of a side-blown flute. It requires some practice and patience to be able to produce a nice sound on an end-blown flute.
